Culturally-Affirming Boundary Setting

SFCAMFT is honored to partner with local CAMFT chapters to offer a meaningful and much-needed training on culturally affirming boundary setting with first- and second-generation clients. Led by Pauline Yeghnazar Peck, MA, MMFT, PhD, Licensed Psychologist, this continuing education workshop challenges one-size-fits-all, Western approaches to boundaries and invites clinicians to consider how culture, family roles, interdependence, and survival needs shape clients’ experiences. Through a culturally responsive and trauma-informed lens, participants will gain practical, compassionate strategies and language to support boundaries that honor dignity, connection, and cultural integrity.
